CB marketing/promo team is genuinely WOAT

Yeah No Guidance did numbers but you're telling me there's other tracks that wouldn't do similar? Seems like it was the only single any effort has been put into for years

I remember when back to love came out, they didn’t even slightly promote it and then released wobble up a week after Indigo is amazing but it could’ve been even better and more successful

As I said start the rollout with dcom instead of undecided (great song but just not the right first single). Bieber fans were thirsting for some new music so putting dcom out w/ a music video = Top 20 AT LEAST.

Follow it up w/ Overtime it had more than 10 million streams on Spotify before they made it a single. idk why they didn’t think of putting it on the standard version of the album

    Then No guidance and heat/indigo.

Back to love is the fine china of this album. Easily top 5 on indigo but just not a sound that’s commercially successful currently.

Also replace All I want, take a risk, Cheetah and trust issues/act in with overtime and under the influence. And don’t put a deluxe version out.

Yeah I was so excited for Back To Love, and then Team CB gave up on it immediately and released Wobble Up which flopped as well.

Undecided was moderately successful, to be fair.

Chris needs to stop the deluxe versions and either release them as mixtapes/EPs (think Royalty International) or just put them on the original album replacing others.

Yup you could tell that they panicked cause back to love wasn’t doing what they thought it would and it just ended up with two singles that didn’t even hit the hot 100

I feel like he got too many yes men around that hype up anything and told him to put all of it on the album cause a couple months before it dropped he was talking about around 20 songs I believe? And then suddenly it was 30, then 37 and then they made it fit by combining some of them

Ain't a thing kinda fire. Just need some work.

i get what you're saying but, from another perspective, Undecided and Back To Love were good lead singles because they're unique. And for an artist who receives a lot of UNDESERVED criticism for his songs sounding the same I don't think that Overtime would've been an ideal early single.

Edit: Undecided is a hit and did honestly perform pretty well

True but there were even people saying that about back to love it’s just mindless hate from people that don’t even listen to his music

Overtime is just so catchy that I think it would’ve done well

Eh undecided went #35 I think and then dropped to like 55 the next week so it didn’t really stay on there for too long

I'm kind of hoping that the "mini-movie" he posted about is for the next album and not Indigo. As much as I'd love to have visuals for these songs, I think the album is too far down the charts for that to have an impact.

I agree but when did he post something about a mini movie?

Idk. I'm not saying his team is perfect, but pop radio just doesn't play his s*** unless it's ft. a big name, How do you get out of a blacklist like that? I mean, Fine China deserved to go #1. You can't tell me if Bruno or The Weeknd did FC it wouldn't have crushed the charts.

Same can be said for Undecided. If that was a JB or Khalid song it would have been #1 for weeks.

True but that’s why they need to put more effort into promoting it in other ways tho. Billboards, ads, TV performances (even tho Idk if CB wants to do these anymore). But I’ve never seen an ig ad for any cb song but already seen 20 for that new Migos song
