He has more hits than his predecessors, James Brown and Bobby Brown.
And that's also a double entendre.
luckily literally nobody cares what anyone outside of the US thinks about rap and R&B
Except many rappers and singers tour overseas and make bank when they start flopping in the U.S.
You might be me
I think this isn't even controversial if someone has actually listened to all of his albums. All the writers did their job. Chris brown had great energy. Fun production. And all of this throughout 40 songs.

Most fans I know agree it’s his best album. There’s like 4-5 filler songs on there that really irk me but the rest is great.
“Breezy” is underrated tho. Not as good as “Indigo” but Sleep at Night, Warm Embrace, Harder and Call Me Everyday are all songs I would rate super high in his catalog. Some of his best songs
Show me one artist that has hits as consistent and also good albums. When I ask like that who do you really have? Hits in 2005 and 2022. Show me one.
what 2022 hits does he have?
genuinely asking so don’t come at me lol

He’s probably referring to Under the Influence even though it came out in 2019. “Baddest” was also a pretty big hit on rhythmic radio

Under the influence. You can count that future metro song if you want too lol. If you want to go back one more year you can count Go Crazy with young thug.

yeah 2005-2020 is a hell of a run. not many artists can say that
he’s still not my goat but i won’t argue w y’all, he’s a legend in his own right
Great singles artist, but always falls flat on albums especially during his 2010s.
His best albums are still from Self titled to F.A.M.E., and tbh that's not saying much.
i really like X. it’s a top 3 album from him imo but overall i agree
Except many rappers and singers tour overseas and make bank when they start flopping in the U.S.
then they’re probably ass
then they’re probably ass
Prince himself toured Europe more than the U.S. at one point
obviously he has some good songs to pick from his first few albums but generally speaking he is fairly overrated.
he didn’t land that backflip during march madness on beat btw. he landed it early. idk why everyone lied about that.

He'll go out a legend
Without that early career f*** up he would've probably been on the moon by 2013
r&b equivalent to game, instead of the documentary he has a hit every other year for like 10-15 years

Agreed
