Genocide is also cultural and does not require mass murder to be occurring. Mass detention and cultural suppression are recognised as aspects of genocide per the UN definition

China is neither socialist nor marxist? They are a competitor in the world capitalist economy
Facts
Imagine arguing ideologies when an entire group of people are being wiped out
That’s definitely the most important thing to focus on guys! Great job. I’m sure the Uygurs who escaped and can directly tell their experiences of forced imprisonments, contraception, and forced pork feeding will surely care about communism or capitalism.
Laughing my ass off at all the fake news in OP
Pathetic
You’re disappointing on the most basic human level.
What exactly is happening, weren’t they already in the country? Why did they decide to start doing this in 2019 or whatever?

uyghurs are native to the northwest region of china, which they refer to as altishahr (china calls it xinjiang). they're a minority that for a little under a century now has been attempting to break away from control by the CCP. the 2010s saw an uptick in clashes and violent incidents with uyghur separatists, and the chinese government has become increasingly paranoid of any hint of separatism.
it's probably worth noting it isn't just uyghurs either, tibetans are another minority that has had a similar story of being forced into labor camps as well in the past decade.

The amount of numbers in the username is a dead giveaway.
