Day late but a year of Bando Stone & the New World.

Still great music on this album. Honestly if not for me loving so many of the tracks on this album I would've looked at this whole Bando Stone thing as a huge middle finger to his fans, despite him saying he wanted this to be a celebration of Gambino and the fans. Like at least we gotta good album but damn...it's truly such a shame that the full potential of this album/film/era was cut short. With hardly any sign of a tour being brought back or an accompanying film on the horizon.

I'm fortunate to have caught the Little Island album listening party and the tour before it got postponed. Genuinely feel bad for anybody who missed it now. That show really was something special.

It's just so bizarre that prior to the album dropping he was doing so much to promote the album and the film. But the moment the album comes out that promotion was left to the tour, then that gets postponed, and then there's hardly anything else in support of the album.

At some point, the "elusive and enigmatic artist" is just plain wack. Especially if it's basically being used as a means to keep fans in the dark about a film and tour.

Oh well.
