Prohibition did have a serious effect on alcohol in the community. And you can’t make a gun in your bathtub using everyday ingredients.
It would work, it HAS worked in other countries. People don’t want to shoot and rob. They want equity and the ability to provide for themselves. A gun doesn’t do that but the money that comes from a sell back would.
