I would like to be happy to have a man of the club in charge for a longer period of time. So far that works pretty fine at Bayern and Ajax and a good time at Barca. Hell even Ole has been written off a billion times and where is United now? Instead of being a club which has an average of 2 managers per season because the owner thinks he knows s***.

Your last sentence doesnt make any sense whatsoever.

I'm not disagreeing about the coaching turnover being ridiculous (I would have expected them to wait until the end of the season to sack him), but he would have been sacked either way. He's simply not a top manager.

And it's not always Roman sacking the manager. Sarri willingly left, for instance. Now, we can obviously talk about Roman's lack of football knowledge with regards to his hiring habits because he did hire Lampard in the first place and is now replacing him with Tuchel.

If he was sacked at the end of the season I would be fine with it. Its just mad disrespectful towards Frank. I don’t see how that’s a hot take.

Edit: Maybe I was off a little, but Frank is a legend and should be treated that way. And thus some extra faith in him wouldn’t be all that bad imo.

    Fairs.

He is a legend and that will never be forgotten. But that legend status often allowed some of his faults to be constantly overlooked, imo. If this was any other manager, people would be celebrating his firing but they aren't bc it's Super Frank who made Mason Mount captain.

this is classic Chelsea. never give anyone a long enough chance. I thought with Cech there, things would change. guess not.

unfair to lamps they were in the top 4 race and just had a bad stretch recently - always thought he was smart enough to develop as a coach and tactician + be given longer time because of who he is and what he means to the club.

You’re stretching it. He had no tactical acumen whatsoever, made the same mistakes over and over. We’d be trailing behind 3-0 and he’d sub players at the 75 minute mark

Lampard isn’t good enough to build a team with much untapped talent like Chelsea. How do you spend that much money and only get 4 points out of the top four?

He never showed that he had the potential to be a tactician.

This is where the comparison to Ole gets fishy for me. Last season, it was evident which manager had a clear and consistent style of play, and which one sent players onto the pitch and prayed they did something right here and there to secure the W.

This team is extremely young. Young players don't merely develop through playing time, but through coaching, and Lampard was never coaching anyone to greater success.

So ole is a tactician in ur eyes?

Looks like Everton are going to drop points to Newcastle, Tuchel effect is very real

  • Feb 15, 2021

Crazy how much ground we’ve gained on everyone in like 18 days. Hope we can do the business against Newcastle.

  • Feb 15, 2021

Should be an easy win against Newcastle

    TURBO TIMOOOO well deserved

    Awful performance

Not a fan of Tuchel throwing Abraham and CHO under the bus in his pressers

  • Feb 23, 2021

What a performance completely dominated. And what a beautiful goal.

    I love hearing Tuchel talk

  • Feb 28, 2021

    Such a huge game.

We win and we're just three behind Leicester and United

Really pivotal run of games coming up.

Wish Ziyech got the chance in the starting XI multiple times in a row, that guy is truly one of the most creative players i have ever seen. And i've seen enough games of him to be 100% positive of that. Seen him play live for years

Dutch league is different to Prem

Bro stop playing with me like i don't know that, i knew someone was about to say this

He literally destroyed sides like Real Madrid, Juventus, Tottenham, Chelsea, Valencia, Bayern etc and those were all Champions League matches. And everybody knows the crazy high tempo that Ajax formation was playing at that time

Wish he would have went to the Spanish or German league, i don't think he fits in the Prem but let's not act like it's because the jump from Eredivisie to a top league is too high

I mean, it is. But let's judge players on the quality. Frenkie is already a key player in Barca for example

It is too high. He’s one dimensional and not physically tough enough for this league.

There’s a reason he was 27 and in the Dutch league.

Yes the Ajax system definitey benefitted him.

Plenty of teams from top leagues like the serie a and laliga were concrete for him before ajax their CL campaign

He chose to stay in the Eredivisie for as long as he did because he really wanted to shine for multiple seasons in European matches with Ajax

I do agree his physical is lacking, especially for the prem but he's the kind of player who can do it all on technique, that's why i already said i'd rather have seen him in the Spanish league or something

Well no not really. History is the one thing we really lack.

When it comes to Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern we are just a step below from the truly elite.
