I like After Hours but the high points weren’t anything special to me, and on average it’s just solid. Think he could’ve done a lot more than he did with the sound and concept.

This album and all of visuals felt like they wanted to go into this trippy vapor wave/outrun direction that would’ve been dope as f***, and he almost captures it during Alone Again, Too Late, Blinding Lights, Nothing Compares but he didn’t push the sound far enough and then the more generic pop tracks really detract from the experience.

first of all, there's not one vapor wave song on this album.
secondly, there are literally 3 pop songs on this album, wtf are u on about?

maybe retrowave is the better term but I definitely consistently hear inspiration from the synthetic 80s sound in the production.

Yea, I think Hardest to Love, Scared to Live, Save Your Tears detract from the flow and mood of the album a good bit.
