I feel like The Weeknd has had a consistent singing voice and by that I mean it’s never drastically changed through out the years it’s always recognizable imo

Idk I was really hyped for this, thinking it could be a 10/10. But after hearing scared to live, I’m kind of skeptical. Really don’t want another BBTM.

I really hope the CDQ adds something to the song, because i think it sounds as one of just most boring songs to date. The chorus is absolutely horrible to me. Really hope it grows on me.

True I hope it’s just one song tho, was making the BBTM comparison because that has some amazing songs, but also some boring mid. Really hope Scared to live is the only song like it on the album. I hope goes back to less linear songs, like the title track.

Just listened to the performance again, the song isn’t that bad, it’s just the chorus that’s sounds kind of whiney & boring, if the cdq has some extra s*** on the production or cool outro I guess it’s decent enough not to skip

I don’t judge the whole thing I just tell you that my hype got less after scared to live again.

My hype from after hours was 10/10 now it’s 8/10 I’m a big weeknd fan! And I know he gonna deliver.

It’s better than 75% of bbtm but not even close to the level Of after hours.

Iknow it’s a s***ty comparison because 2 completely different type of songs but still a album full of after hours type of songs would be incredible
