Just watched After Hours two nights ago and it’s such a good film

It’s like Proto-Safdie and clearly shows where they got there influences from.

I feel like this album could be the culmination of everything Abel’s done so far. Still pop on some songs, but with more of his distinctive sound and with a consistent aesthetic. I think he had to make BBTM and Starboy as his first steps into the mainstream, and now this will be putting together the old and new in a fully cohesive way. At least I hope so. We’ll know in 12 hours!
