CostanzaWell there was that interview with a CEO who said they were lining up the next single and it could be the biggest one.
However, I remember Abel saying before that he thought ‘In the Night’ was going to be bigger than CFMF and The Hills.
I can kind of see why he thought In The Night would be bigger than it actually was because it kind of has that MJ vibe, pop heavy, with a catchy chorus.

I second this. It was very catchy, which along with some snazzy production, is all that's really needed to be a pop hit imo, but the underlying meaning of the lyrics probably went over most people's heads.
