Even with all this bullshit, and the pandemic
It's the music that remains
Album of the Year
i wanna go back in time and listen to After Hours for the first time again ( the single )
This entire list is infuriating. folklore and Future Nostalgia are the only albums that belong on that list.
The worst part? That Black Pumas album doesn't even f***ing qualify because it missed the mark, eligibility period starts on Sep 1, 2019
It dropped in June of 2019 so they count the f***ing deluxe...
yikes.........
He should take this as a big F*** U, stop the pop s*** and get back to the the Dark RNB since it’s clear he ain’t gonna get his props that way and he already has too big of a fan base to fall now like Drake.
lol no. he's getting his props in literally every other aspect. "dark rnb" isn't taking him to the superbowl stage.
yikes.........
Yup that Black Pumas addition is literally the biggest f*** you

Dua belongs there and HAIM is an unexpected but strong nom.
Post and Taylor dominate. No getting around that.
Those four other nominations over After Hours and a few others...I just don't get it. I love Jhene but that album wasn't it. Coldplay was ok...the other two

But the actual quality of Hollywood’s Bleeding is actual ass. The numbers argument can’t even fly for Post if Abel had just as good numbers with a far better album

ain't that the same man who held the Billboard chart record before The Weeknd just overtook it? and i know those things don't mean much anymore. at least to me.
i'm sure there are people who think Blinding Lights/After Hours is "actual ass" too. Numbers don't tell the whole truth but they def don't lie. Post is a celebrated artist.

I don't think anyone is denying Circles doesn't deserve a nom (they shouldn't because that song was unavoidable). But comparing the two albums, one was seen as a triumphant return to form (arguably best work of his career) and the other was a critical and commercial fall off from his previous album. You can figure out which one is which.

for sure. I just think there are more blatant inclusions than Post. we shouldn't be surprised/shocked at that

post is not the problem tbh.
None of the nominated are.
Its the grammys, the people behind the curtain.
I dont understand how can you bring politics and manipulation into these type of stuff man.
Its crazy just to deny this mans success.
Hell nominate him for them and dont let him win.
But this is just public humiliation

I know he's not the problem in general, I was just responding to that particular post.
There's absolutely something very strange and nasty about this. After the year the guy had, it's tragic.
