This album starts out so strong with Star Side Intro, Ride, No More Old Men, and The Negro Problem. Those four, and Letters, are pretty easily top 5.
Still have Coloring Book and Acid Rap over this. It's a good album and a better comeback tho, for sure. Keep the music coming, my nigga.
It's the Four Black Commandments, man, you know how we rock
It goes one, watch your health, that's your wealth
Two, watch yo' brother, that's yourself
Three, watch your home, that's your door
Four, if they want it, we go to war
I got left but maybe I ain't find the right person
I got clean, maybe I ain't get the right version
I need a shrink come and bring me my meds
'Cause it's some things wrong with some things in my head
Sometimes I think she was the love of my life
So, when I'm alone sometimes I think that I'm dead
Some of the realest s*** he ever spit
Don't really like Link Me In The Future as a song but that 2nd verse is so picture painting and special
This album is frustrating because it could so easily be made better by trimming it down to 40 minutes. Doesn’t need to be so long, and there were definitely enough tracks that were either straight up bad or just filler
Still very good overall tho, and I’m happy Chance is back

to me overall just sounds kind of dated. maybe im just not in that space in my life anymore but if dude had dropped this in like 2019 early 2020 we'd be outta here. i hope this is the beginning of resurgence for him because he seems like a decent enough guy i guess and the album's not bad or anything. maybe i'll rock with it more on a revisit
