5.9 from p4k (guess who did the review)
Ofc it’s the usual culprit reviewing it
Alphonse is terrible, he fundamentally doesn't understand a lot of the s*** he reviews. I think they keep him specifically cus his s***ty writing & takes generate clicks and attention, he's really the only one doing that for p4k now
That’s exactly the reason
Everyone knows that man got garbage takes and opinions but Pitchfork also knows that the outage it creates, generates traffic so they allow it.
No journalistic integrity, but it keeps their name in people’s mouth.

I don't even care about the score. It's the actual content of his review that never makes any sense and is just clickbait bullshit. He did the same for GNX, I don't even know what score he gave it but reading the review it was like he listened to something else

yeah idk why he even tried with the upbeat stuff no reality where chance gets a random song popping in 2025 should have just kept it concise

And if he wanted that, drop an EP of it
Purposeful comeback albums that aren't forcing commercial s*** usually work out well
I really liked Trees. Usually don't like weed songs but the cadence and melody of the song were great
Solid project. Thats all it needed to be. Nothing special, but solid. I can return to this often.
The umbrella line in the intro has to be one of my favorite random bars of the year lol
DThang said "Don't hit, she dirty", but it's too late, I already ate it
Now I gotta live with that
I said I was done, but I'm back in the Raq, 'cause I just found out that my dog was a cat
Damn not seen a single bad thing said about this album.
Will have to check it out tomorrow
Drapetomania is a banger I have realized
I have started to enjoy it as well
Still hate gun in your purse tho
Also Just a Drop could be so damn good if it wasn’t for Jay E’s terrible feature
8 favourite songs and only a 6/10 is sus

That’s cool because I’m putting together a mathematically logical review of this album as we speak, tired of these niggas, we bout to start KTT reviews 😤
The writing on this album is so good man
Not a star yet, just a son at the time
Me and my dad burnt them CDs one at a time
The beauty of a Sharpie in the moonlight
The writing was Baroque, the speed was cartoon-like
The love baked in barbecued grilled
He taught me how to fish, how to start a new skill
He said, "Scale from the tail, grab the shark by the gills
If God need a boat, do yo' part and you build
F*** the art of the deal, put yo' art in yo' will
So your kids never spend time starving or ill"
