Yeah I’m more moved by this emotionally
Love LGSEO though

Malice is still this year’s mvp but it’s very specific s*** said this album that’s evoked tears lol.
Niggas was moved to tears off this...?
someone in here said their dad has cancer so no more old men had them feel a way
Niggas really be astounded other people relate to an artist just because they not fans of them.

5.9 from p4k (guess who did the review)
is this better than Clipse?
If I can be real, I enjoy this more as a full body of work
But Clipse has So Be It which is rap song of the decade for me
For folks who purchased the CD (as a nigga is about to do soon), it doesn't have Pretty on it.

The Big Day 6.9 btw.
This cornball Alphonse needs to be stopped
He keeps giving the most generic no name underground rappers who are basically just Veeze clones 7s and 8s. But the artists who actually try with their projects and give variety and creativity with their projects he'll toss em 5s or 6s.
I know his exact type lol got the same tastes as a white teenager who just discovered rap and desperately wants to fit in with a particular crowd.
so glad that my first time listening to this album started with Speed of Love
have been spinning that s*** 4x a day

ngl Back To the Go caught me slippin a lil. i was a major Chance hater before this album so its no bias, but that s*** resonated with me so much. had to actually move back with my mom earlier this decade and needed to reset & focus on my next move so him making a song exactly about that hit too close to home for me
Aight I don't care much for the album but when it comes to the P4K review...
"In the six years since his last album, the Chicago rapper has gone through the ringer. Star Line captures a new era of transformation and personal growth, but it too often feels self-conscious and shallow."
Like...what does this even mean bruh lmao you acknowledge that the nigga hasn't dropped a project in six years and has gone through a lot in his personal life (Marriage, having a kid, separation and divorce, a universally panned album) since then. The album is all about his personal development, transformation, and rediscovering himself in that time. It's safe to assume that he's going to be self-conscious about himself and music because his whole life was put out on display on social media and people shat on him.
Again, I don't care much for the album but to call what he discusses on this project "shallow" is pretty f***in insane lol especially when this f*** nigga Alphonse busts it wide open for the run of the mill dime a dozen d*** addict rapper with the same tired triplet punch-in flow. None of that is shallow to him, but apparently songs about getting knocked down and facing humiliation after your marriage failed in the public eye and having to bounce back from that is shallow...
Again when it comes to these P4K scores I don't even necessarily disagree with them in some cases, but their explanations behind their scores are always so f***in dogshit lol

Alphonse is terrible, he fundamentally doesn't understand a lot of the s*** he reviews. I think they keep him specifically cus his s***ty writing & takes generate clicks and attention, he's really the only one doing that for p4k now
