The comedic timing Is better in this than any anime I've watched.

I don't watch that much but it's usually corny as ever living f*** in other shows.

Not comparing it to other anime but to the manga.
When drawing gesture exaggeration is a rule so in almost any drawn medium the comedy relies on that.
When you try a more realistic approach like they doing in the anime you lose that element and the comedy falls flat, am not saying the anime is comedy terrorism but it just aint as funny imo
