Did demonslayer spark this fad of mfs wanting a movie for s*** that doesnt need one?It’s just that a movie is gonna get you the biggest return on investment you can get. The money they would make could fund the rest of the series with no issues
Right now they’re pretty much measuring how successful this season was after MAPPA funded this s*** 100%. Blu Rays dropping next month so that’ll play a part but merch is more important and you can only sell so many pochita plushies. This is a gritty ass, violent series that isn’t for everyone. It’s not like Spy x Family that appeals to everyone and basically markets itself.
Just hope whatever they do they keep putting their hearts into this series cus it’s the goat if they keep doing it at this level

Minor thing, but personally feel like the show didn't do Makima justice. She is not as imposing and threatening in the show as she is in the manga.
Mappa made her all cutesy and s***, for no reason.
This scene in the manga was fr startling. Like, Fujimoto draws her in a very deliberate way that imo mappa didn't translate well.
Not to mention some unnecessary shots of her ass that mappa decided to throw in. Makima's sexualization in the manga happens from denji's POV, not the audience's.
