Probably his most disappointing album of his entire career.

The Leaks in 2020 completely ruined the album, the rollout, and Drake’s vision for the album. He panicked and loaded the CLB album with throwaways, useless features, and forgettable verses. It’s a damn shame we went from Laugh Now Cry Later to CLB.

Scorpion, FATD, and CLB are his worst albums, which isn’t a good sign considering they are very recent.

i agree that there is an undeniable classic album between CLB/DLDT/LEAK2020/SH2

but I also think Drake has gotten worse at sequencing and curating albums

you can see this in the HL / FATD / SH3 songs too

he is great at creating a massive catalog of songs for any given era

but has gotten worse (or is less concerned with) paring down from that massive catalog for a cohesive sounding record imo

he could easily give us another TC/NWTS and imo CLB is the closest he's come since, with FATD a close second behind it
