Fair Trade
Some bizarre executive decisions on this tape
Laugh Now Cry Later cut from the tape
So no real promotional single
Way 2 Sexy
OG Love All being watered down
Unnecessary 1 minute intro on TSU
They needa explain this in the doc
Definitely Drakeâs most bizarre and baffling studio album release.
No real direction whatsoever, obviously hindered by the delays and the pandemic, borderline zero acknowledgement and promotion after the album released, never got a official tour and basically ignored on the setlist for Itâs All a Blur.
The hype was through the roof though, but it felt like Drake was over the album by the time it dropped.
Some great songs scattered throughout, but easily his worst project overall to me
CLB > Scorpi ting
Oh nah, I wouldnât have noticed if you werenât doing it in almost every thread I click on regardless of topic or section. But hey you clearly donât see it that way yourself, so Iâll stop making a fuss about it đ€·ââïž
all this because he doesnât like CLB is insane im ngl
CLB > Scorpi ting
well yeah
Scorpion is one of the worst albums released by a superstar ever
i donât think drake has a bad album
fair to call some stuff mid sure but none of the music is really bad like that imo

It wasnât about CLB it was just something I noticed and wanted to point out, but yeah I know I shouldnât have made 5 posts about it lol.

Agreed, I think all drake projects have value and a good chunk of records in every era that makes him worthwhile to listen to
I wouldnât say FATD is my most enjoyable Drake album but if I look at my numbers itâs still the album that Iâve played the most this last year or so
BLACK BOXES WIT THE BOW & ROSE
ZARA HEELS BOUND 2 GIVE U ZARA TOES

But a lot of the content in those posts was also applicable to you @edumist , no need to be so bitter all the time

tends to happen when he drops music
âIâm kinda let down, anyway iâve got like 300 plays of the album so far. It was so crazy when it dropped last niteâ
Girls want girls and get along better are some of the best tracks imo
Strong disagree but I respect your opinion

itâs my dharma
Classic moment

it was triggered by him crying about CLB though, so it doesnât make sense to say it wasnât âabout itâ lol
if he came in here and slurped the project up you wouldnât had made any of those posts A âââ> B really core level causation
youâre a stan so idk why you canât just admit him s***ting on the album rubbed you the wrong way, not that srs

it ending up better than FATD is crayz tho
lowkey thought FATD was gonna be the one
drake, in terms of rapping about his lifestyle, and the tales of his love life, peaked with this tape
actual hurt on lots of these songs
lots of emotion

Youâre right I wouldnât have replied to a positive comment like that. But that doesnât mean what I said was all bcus of this particular comment of his, but I just decided to comment on it here rather than in a thread on a more serious topic.
also causality doesnât work like that, but thatâs a different conversation lol :kevinwd2:

This album is a masterpiece in comparison to FATD unfortunately

I put them on a similar level tbh
Itâs crazy to me that there are Honestly nevermind haters but everybody got their tastes, on a dif note
I urge ppl that havenât listened to CLB in years to revisit it just to see if anything changed
Tastes change over time
