the Bix stuff just fundamentally doesn’t work for me

I genuinely don’t know what people who hate this show want out of Star Wars - takes like this are in the small minority but I’m just baffled by it. If you just want fun space action/adventure, The Mandalorian already exists - and most of the other shows basically tried to do the same thing as that show to lesser success.

Andor dares to tell an actually mature, complex story within this universe - not just “oh it’s so dark because so many people die”, but actually rich writing, characters and THEMES. Idk man, I have some nitpicks with certain story beats but really don’t understand a take like this - especially when most of the comments just say “This is ass” and can’t expand on it at all.

I agree a little too much going on in the show for some half assed s*** that isn’t moving the needle

I thought I would like this show cause the beginning of season 1 starts out so strong, but then... we get two arcs that destroy any sense of momentum. It's like three different shows. I like the one about Andor being a fugitive. Don't really like the heist one, or the prison break one. Two more episodes left in the season but I hope there's some serious payoff, otherwise they should have just cut this filler.
