Up until like a month ago Carti was as hyped up as any artist has been in a minute.. he literally could have dropped ANYTHING other than this and it would've been received as a hit lol

One of the first things i thought when first listening to this song was how insanely shallow bland & boring it is

I know it was Nudy’s song but given an official release it would’ve instantly proven to the labels that Carti is commercially viable. Ever since that song leaked he’s just been trying to recreate it. He hasn’t switched his flow in over a year at this point
