being at a seat for a rap or edm show is the wackest s*** ever
This is cap on the rap side
read post above u big dawg
Yeah no s*** he was bigger when you only looking at the year before Uzi started dropping lol
Zooming out tells a different story
carti is more of a listen in my house while smoking my little d**** type artist
He’s not a Drake/Kanye/Durk type artist that warrants the in person experience imo
WLR still a classic tho

A single f***in year...
I honestly think him and Uzi should tour together again
Uzi the bigger artist rn but i feel like ppl gravitate to WLR now more than they did EA
A single f***in year...
that was the whole discussion if you werent talking about 2014-15 idk why you were debating this wasnt a topic of who was bigger overall thats obvious lol
His whole s*** been a mess it doesn't have anything to do with Carti the artist but his promo been f***ed up from the jump like how do you expect people to buy seats for an event barely advertised with high chances of being cancelled...

Honestly I’m not even that big of a fan but I’d be there in a second if he was playing a midsize venue or reasonably rap-oriented fest near me
I’m not trying to pay $70 to watch him play the f***ing Indianapolis Farmers Coliseum half empty at absolute best

Being in the crowd looks like it would be ass cause it’a at a festival and being in the crowd at festivals sucks d*** but imagine this experience at a more humble venue like a theater
C**

Carti was a hell of a performer in self titled era and early due lit days. He started becoming more mediocre performance wise during the break between Die lit and WLR. I think it was becoming a dad and the d**** that really slowed him down. His music makes up for his lack of performance skills, but it would be great to see him put in the work to be a great live performer again.

Big fan of being in the back of festival crowds like this and experiencing the energy without dealing with teens doing ket for the first time
Uzi at ACL 2019 with those exact vibes
Honestly knowing what kinda crowd Carti attracts the most, I'd feel weird being a Black man in my mid-late 20s at one of his shows.
Not worth going to Carti if you’re not on the floor
Imagine being in a f***ing seat when Stop Breathing comes on
Or literally any WLR song

Would that be so weird?
As another late 20s black man I like to think it would be a lot of us who have been listening since the Broke Boi/ Talk (Icywtwat remix) days
