Ran through this on a flight a bit ago finally after being out all weekend. Damn good album, jeeeez. She never disappoints, but this is an evolution she needed.

It’s hard not to compare this to Midnights, but I really think I love this slightly more. Surrender My Heart, Bends, So Nice, Go Find Yourself Or Whatever, the title track, Anxious are all top tier Carly. All of the singles have grown on me as well and it feels like she’s really tapping into an interesting angle on downtempo pop on some of these songs
