Lol, Bruno has uncornified himself w/ his last 2 albums, you're stuck in the past. And his talent level is just out of Bieber's boundaries. Much more versatile and virtuosic.
But go enjoy the repetitive "tropical pop" of Purpose where you mostly hear the same song under minor variations over and over again, or the Craig David rip offs of Journals.

SHAQUILLEI just try to be optimistic when it comes to music. He’s always been a great singer and maybe with him getting older, having more experiences, getting married, etc it’ll translate into better music
Tbh puberty really hurt his voice. Compared to people who can really sing in R&B he's just a nonfactor.

Sure he can come up with a cool track when it's written by other people, whose job is to make those well-crafted songs for the masses.
He only has potential bc of his resources.
Maria proves he could rap in a unique and non-cringe way.
True he has needed writers and he does not craft is own tracks, but he is not far off from Travis, who uses tons of writers and producers to craft tracks, and can't sing well.
The difference between him and Travis is rapping ability and presentation. Biebz has the image, writers and producers, all he needs is better rapping or singing ability and presentation.

You're probably right, I don't know his fans or performance quality, but he has not tried hard musically ever. Maybe he will hit an inspired artistic phase
