just make sure you come correct when applying. polish your resume and make it ATS-friendly (lotta positions draw in 200+ applicants so they have to narrow down the candidate pool using software). tailor your cover letter to each job/company. preparation + luck = opportunities.

also, always keep yourself busy (even if it means doing small random tasks/chores). make s*** up to do that's at least the slightest bit productive to avoid falling into that do-nothing cycle.
