honestly @op I'm not even joking... maybe consider the military.

try and get a position like engineering, aviation, logistics, et cetera. you can use that experience down the line in the civilian sector + you'll have veteran status, so you'll have priority in something like federal government. AND the GI Bill if you stick long enough (3 years).

As a huge idiot with a big idiot brain, I hit it with a 50k job out of college by taking as many internship opportunities as possible, working 2 jobs outside of that and constantly embellishing on resumes. Use cover letters on all job applications and try and reach back out via phone and email to get in touch with hiring managers. If you have friends working places, try and network with them and see if they know of any opportunities.

i was unemployed for a year and a half OP keep grinding

ended up starting my own business and it's not doing great atm but it's something

the government here has subsidized courses and i just signed up for one

improve ur resume and self-learn SQL or something. idk what jobs poli sci majors apply to tbh. exaggerating or fibbing on skills will definitely help get interviews but from my experience reputable companies will make u demonstrate knowledge of whatever skills or experience u put on ur resume so exercise caution.

there are plenty of websites that sell courses/educational content and videos for cheap that teach valuable skills you can put on ur resume

I hope you have good fortunes op. I started working before i graduated so i luckily still have employment but i also cant find a good job after college because i happened to graduate during a pandemic

Sincerely hope you find a job. Work really hard. Apply everywhere. Stretch the the truth on your resume and if you get a call back, act with upmost confidence like you can handle anything
