I've never even heard of Joni Mitchell outside of when I asked my mom what artists she likes. I ain't even tryna be mean, like, it's their decision what they want to tolerate from the companies they let use their music, but it's just so evil to me to try to silence someone else's art and ruin their livelihoods. No, I don't like Rogan, but even clowns have the right to honk.
Not only that, but imagine if Spotify existed in like, the 60s. You know some cracker ass artists would pull their s*** because of civil rights anthems being on the service as well. And like, these are two very different situations, I know, but the concept is the same: the powerful and already established using their weight and power to try to silence things they don't like, and it's absolutely vile to me in any situation.
I don't think Joe should be removed either but cmon, his "livelihood" would not be ruined if he was removed. He was already incredibly rich and popular before the spotify deal. He doesn't need spotify. Joe is not some poor victim in this situation, these are consequences to his action even if they are overblown.
Him being removed from spotify wouldn't even be him being "censored" because he already has an insanely popular youtube channel, twitter, instagram and comedy tour. Being removed from a singular platform is not being silenced when he still has countless avenues to spread his bs.
Also Rogan and a company that works for him (Bent Pixels) have taken down and actually silenced youtubers who have made content criticizing him and his friends. That is literally an example of the powerful and established using their power to silence people they don't like. The choices Neil and Joni made are not that.
Again, I don't think he should be removed but painting this as people trying to "silence" Rogan and attack on free speech is just hilarious.

if rogan n co. want to take down content because they don't like it or want it, it's silencing ppl they don't like, but if neil n joni (joni goated btw sad to see dis news jk i got apple music so idc) want to take down content because they don't like it or want it, it's not silencing ppl they don't like?
Joni Mitchell never lies
Joni Mitchell grasping at relevancy
she's dumb for doing this but you're dumb as f*** if you don't think Joni is relevant

There's a huge difference between a multimillionaire partnering with a company to take down content from independent, small creators that criticizes him and two artists saying they don't want to share a platform with Rogan.
If Joe was removed from Spotify tomorrow, his next pod on youtube would do record numbers. How is that being silenced?
If you're a small creator and get lawyers sent after you from the biggest podcaster in the world, are you gonna upload the video again? That's being silenced.

lol can’t believe this guy’s content is taken seriously to begin with. He always struck me as a toddler in the “why?” stage when he tries to tackle subjects.
But in all seriousness, the people who enjoy JRE are just going to follow him wherever he goes and secondly I think most people who would value whatever he said about covid probably already have a preconceived disposition about covid.
Isn’t this moron a regular guest?
Just seems like this is all part of his brand. Par for the course.

We are also not a monolith. There are now multiple black users who appear to be fans of her on this page alone.
