For ppl that are saying that Yeezys survived MAGA and Slavery is a Choice. When Ye said all that dumb s*** he followed it up with good music. All the core fanbase cares about is good music. This time around the issue is that the music is bad. I don't know if the core fanbase is still going to be buying yeezys now. This is a different issue than the 2018 drama

I mean... Ye has competent lyrics and mixing/mastering. It had personal stories and really delved into a topic i am more interested in (Mental Health). Also we can't ignore that KSG came out a week later.

I mean yeah I think Ye has more universally relatable themes than JIK. I think you would have to be somewhat invested in Christianity to be really interested in the lyrics on JIK. But overall I just think the lyrics on JIK are much weaker than KSG and Ye. It is more on the level with TLOP (one of my fav albums oat so no hate)
