Everyone is forced to think and have attraction to what society believes and enforces as the current norm.

However it is your choice whether or not to have a defiance against it or a support towards it.

No matter what everyone is accustomed and unable to fully be uninfluenced towards what society calls upon for aesthetic-wise.

It goes for all aspects in life.
However unlike most aspects. When it's enforced on specific living beings. Then that is when it becomes harmful.

I'll say again you are severely underestimating the influence culture has on psychology, self-esteem/self-image and perceptions of beauty. A lot of this stuff happens on the unconscious level as your brain starts to associate certain stimuli with certain emotions or responses based on what you perceive from other people. Just because you don't think it has happened to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened to you or it doesn't happen at all

I hear you but what’s the problem with that though. It’s not like men are choosing the body types on their own.

Look at it like this. Men put athletes on a pedestal which in turn women see so they value athletes as well. You can say it’s the same thing for body types. Women see Kate moss in the magazines and try to emulate her which in turn causes men to want a woman like that. That’s isn’t oppressive imo

Of course it is lmao. It is social conditioning.

Trends, fashion etc. It all plays into it. You are taught what is and is not attractive. This goes for everything from clothes/fashion to bodytypes.

It’s definitely a weird confluence of both and of course social influence is huge — but there is a range of hip to waist ratio across cultures (albeit with granular differences in preference) that signals toward some sort of objective attractiveness

I'm not gettin into all that my only point was that you and a lot of other ppl were undercutting cultural influence on beauty standards and acting like men just like what they like because they were born that way

Yeah. It certainly is not 100% social conditioning. Big hips would be something that I would consider to be a more natural attraction, but society can convince otherwise. We have been through that phase in the 80s and 90s especially. In the west at least.

There are also cultures that do not find breasts sexually stimulating.

Interesting take. Naturally, or scientifically, I’ve heard men are attracted to wide hips, strong legs & large breasts.

Obviously it could differ for what other things men like (feet, eyes, etc), but those 3 are the subconscious kickers.

Is that why we always stare at butts though? Like why men (even if they’re 90) just look lmao?

We’re not naturally attracted to large breasts, women have lived casually topless in god knows how many different societies

looking at it from an evolutionary perspective i'd imagine that wide hips are found attractive because it signals the woman may be able to shoot out babies like a pitching machine, and while survival and reproduction aren't life or death priorities like they used to be, we still exhibit a lot of these evolutionary tendencies

Topless for sure, but let’s say 2000 years ago, would a woman with large or small breasts be more attractive?

I personally dgaf, small breasts are awesome too. All you need is a handful bbg

Breasts being attractive is social conditioning.

Hips being attractive probably is natural due to it representing a strong woman who can bear children. The meme of big hips being for breeding has some truth to it.

This is legit just whining. We all have our preferences and literally just about any type of chick can cuff niggas bro

    Nah it's facts.

Western media pushed big titts and small asses as sexy in 2000s, but since 2010 plastic and big asses have been a wave
