Anything can resonate with people as long as it’s generic enough. F***ing car commercials can “resonate with people”. If you’re content consuming what corporations are giving you without questioning the authenticity of the artist you’re listening too, fine. That means you’re a sheep, a good consumer willing to buy anything as long as it “resonates” with you. But please, don’t call people with some critical thinking “virgins”. That makes you even more ridiculous.

Guess what? I don’t give a s*** about the authenticity of an artist as long as I like the music I’m hearing. Neither do 90% of the people on this earth. You can call it critical thinking, I can call it delusion. I’m just here for the music, not the thinkpieces on whether or not an 18 year old Disney star’s music is “organic” whatever the f*** that means.
