I propose we have the Kino sxn (private sxn) on the behalf of the "KinoToThe" chat thread (should be a main thread) was stickied on Misc sxn. That popularity and the engaging discussions we had, the another case which it's the Pretentious Chat Thread made it more popular than the regular old TV & Film Chat Thread. Yes, it seems redundant that we have two film sections, but my idea is the Kino sxn would be a niche sxn that relies on either cult classic or arthouse cinema stuff than TV & Film Sxn would have (Marvel/DC stuff). The problem is that some of the "niche" threads like Westerns or Film Noir threads I have gets buried and I kind of want it's on the front page as a guide for newcomers. That being said, it should be a place where people can discuss non-mainstream stuff and a space for niche film buffs. For example like what Criterion Channel is different than Netflix because Criterion Channel is only for niche film buffs.

I and other users would like to have a place of discussion for greater emphasis on film discussions, share recommendations, etc albeit a niche community.

@S i have no idea if this should be proposed to you directly or a global mod but the ''Pretentious Chat Thread'' quickly gathered close to 13k replies in the short time it has been around and just as quickly replaced the already existing chat thread of that sxn

A lot of people in there were discussing multiple things that have to do with foreign/arthouse/whatever has to do with the art of film that really deserve their own threads and places of discussion

Like @sace mentioned, these kind of threads get burried rather fast in the TV & Film sxn, even though there are many people that would like to partake in discussing stuff that is more niche

I strongly believe that threads about these subjects will gather 10 times the amount of traffic if it would be posted in this new section, since there are no big threads of huge IPs that will overshadow them any longer

Also i'd happily co-mod the place

I mean no shade to Brr B that's my brother but if mans has a whole private sxn dedicated to him, then we damn sure could need one for our beloved artform that so many people on KTT are passionate about
