Nigga that’s what the whole conversation is about wtf is you talking about

Kendrick said specifically he didn’t care about industry s*** and yall keep falling back on charts and stats

You are making up this argument yourself to justify why you disagree with Kendrick, but that has never been the actual premise

But… yall keep bringing up charts when this whole diss has been about f*** the industry f*** the charts it’s culture

And you choose to say “well this is wrong because he did made this song chart here”

If you disagree that’s cool but you are arguing a point that Kendrick isn’t even talking about in the disses lol

Nigga I don’t give a f*** what Kendrick said lol

I thought what he said was fire

The point IM making is Drake put these niggas on COMMERCIALLY

That is objective fact. So regardless of wtf Kendrick talking about them niggas would thank Drake for what he did. Kendrick just rapping and destroying this nigga in a battle as he should but that s*** ain’t real life

Lmao y’all funny as s*** man

Who tf is a fanboy I just pulled up to the crib bumping Not Like Us lol I can rap that s*** word for word

I don’t give a f*** about none of these niggas I’m just tired of y’all lying just bc y’all have a vendetta against Drake

    I hate hating ass niggas

Yall niggas play dumb when people bring up the culture vulture s***.

This nigga has a whole booklet of accents and personas that he throws on depending on the song and feature.

A nigga will already be stamped with a whole movement behind him and then Drake will come along and do a song with the artist and then lil Timmy or vlad from Europe will tell you that artist wasn’t s*** until Drake blessed them or whatever.

Versace wasn’t charting like that… migos wasn’t even big big until after 2017

Was culture your first migos album?

So if a big artist goes out of his way to collaborate with another smaller artist with a wave going on, it's him being a culture vulture.

    Got it.

    Except… they didn’t

Migos pre and post Versace remix wasn’t that wildly different in popularity compared to post Culture

It was a nice boost but they went quiet again when Offsst went to jail in 2015

Nigga I didn’t say since Drake do you need help reading you stupid f***?

I said they did not have any hits PRIOR (that means BEFORE for y’all remedial types) to Versace remix you ass clown

They became one of the biggest rap groups of all time after that why the f*** would I say they didn’t have hits since 2013? Lmao you’re a f***ing bozo

  • May 19, 2024

We can maybe use this for Fetty Wap but even then Trap Queen, 678, and My Way og were still poppin before My Way remix

And post My Way remix, how much did fetty wap’s commercial success grow?

How much was My Way Remix not just a nice hot song for the summer but not really some new height fetty reached?

Migos 2013-2015 and Migos post Bad and Boujee are two different levels of popularity

White kids werent f***ing with migos like that until Uzi on bad and boujee and you had memes about “raindrop drop top”

That itself shifted migos more mainstream than f***ing Versace remix

But you got mouth breathing bozos walking around saying Drake put migos on

If its revisionist history please list the hits Migos and Lil Baby had prior to Versace Remix and Yes indeed respectively

    Please include the chart position

If you can’t do that stfu please

Ain’t nobody saying they were non existent prior to Drake I’m just saying them collabing with Drake was their first big commercial break and even they will tell you that wtf

Versace was already hot before Drake got on it, what do you mean it was their big commercial break

Nigga that’s what the whole conversation is about wtf is you talking about

you need to take your Wayne avi off and stop using him as some sort of prop that makes you look like you’re about this hip-hop s*** more than you actually are

the entire thread’s premise is discussing whether or not Drake collaborating with these artists is more beneficial to him than said artists in the f***ing long haul dumbass, it has nothing to do with the numbers or how high it charted

if Kendrick was solely looking at it from the narrow minded point of view that you’re doing it, he wouldn’t had said s***, he’s criticizing Drake for collaborating with these artists and using their background and image as a sort of monkey bar to justify his street talk in addition to taking their slang and style from these cultures for his own music

you’re just sitting here saying “well he helped them blew up how is he a colonizer” and that’s not even the point of the diss, let alone what the thread is even about

if Kanye did this im very sure you would call him out for it, but since you’re essentially in love with Drake you’re willing to say dumb and reductive s*** like this instead of actually having a nuanced conversation

Bruh i been in highschool those years migos were coming up and i never heard one song with migos and drake . The only song i heard was portland off that more life tape and ppl didnt like it much.
Fight night, bad and boujee and the raindrop drop top s***, nd theculture album, thats what ppl remember when we look back on those days i dont really think drake was a big part of it. They clearly had their own momentum maybe you can make a case for lil baby and drake but def not migos
Swear to god i never heard a versace remix this the first time i heard of that s***
