    Bandcamp is f***ing legendary

They are so pro artist, its really always a great experience whenever you use it.

They do a great job of remaining somewhat successful while being so pro artist bc its definitely limited.

    Greetings,

On May 2, fans spent over $3.2 million on Bandcamp in just 24 hours—directly supporting independent artists and labels.

Whether you dropped a release, ran a sale, or simply stayed present for your fans, thank you for being part of it.

*Bandcamp Friday is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when artists and fans connect directly."

Fan support doesn’t begin or end with one day—it’s built into how Bandcamp works.

    That's the mission.

    Next Bandcamp Friday: August 1st

In the meantime, the connection continues.

Are there a few that look particularly interesting that you could name/link here?

    From Dreamcrusher:

Hey! I see that I have a lot of new followers, welcome everyone! If you’re new, please consider purchasing music from me directly today via bandcamp. Mainstream streaming services pay a fraction of a penny per stream, and your direct support is essential to keeping fringe projects like this one alive (especially now).

BANDCAMP FRIDAY IS ALSO NEXT WEEK BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A GOOD TIME TO SUPPORT INDEPENDENT ART!

    🧿

    Here’s a guide:

    “MUSIC MAKES ME HIGH”
A new release, live record of all-new material; commissioned by Roulette Intermedium!

I really like this record because I really don’t know how to describe it or define it. Just vibes chile…

TWO SINGLES ARE STREAMING EVERYWHERE NOW

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/music-makes-me-high-live-at-roulette-intermedium

    “I’ve Got My Light”

    on.soundcloud.com/d3PMwwbTz3gpPwqP9

“Feel My Fire” (co-produced by King Vision Ultra)

    on.soundcloud.com/w2wAh8vUtCtJvi9h9 / music.apple.com/us/album/feel-my-fire-live-at-roulette-single/1803419874

    “It Is In The Seeing”

    on.soundcloud.com/BTPXsCJPcBqhqiDW6 / music.apple.com/us/album/it-is-in-the-seeing-live-at-roulette-single/1800997721

    “SUITE TWO” / “SUITE ONE”

The first and second in the on-going “Suite” series of EP’s. I’m maturing and this is an open template to do that artistically. Like, my back hurts my old ass can’t mosh all the damn time chile…

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/suite-one

    “ARCHIVE LIVE MUCHO STEREO”

A live recording by KING VISION ULTRA and I as our group CENTENNIAL GARDENS. We rock hard and loud b**** turn up. It’s always a TIME when we on the bill 🦄

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/archive-live-03262023-mucho-stereo

    “ANOTHER COUNTRY”

From 2020, my most introspective record so far. Used the mixtape format so it can just play. Not in direct reference to the James Baldwin book, but also like… y’know?

    That’s my sis fr.

    FINALLY STREAMING EVERYWHERE NOW

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/another-country-3

    “PANOPTICON!”

Also from 2020, queer rage during lockdown. Tryna expand ur mind on what “noise” can be (as usual lol)

    FINALLY STREAMING EVERYWHERE NOW

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/panopticon-3

    “FEVER” / “CISHET”

Two outtakes from my EP “Grudge2” / more queer black rage from ameri(kkk)a. They were my favorites to perform until recently…!!!

(both are on Apple Music etc too)

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/track/fever

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/track/cishet

    “GRUDGE2”

Released w CORPUS back in the dayyyy
Turn it up too loud and scare your gentrifier neighbors (no, seriously, especially the first track). I feel like this was my first real release as an official New Yorker. Like, so many of y’all drove the energy of this thang.

    dreamcrusher.bandcamp.com/album/grudge2

…and the other releases from the past 22 years!

    bandcamp.com/about_clubs

Say hello to Bandcamp Clubs, a new way to discover and collect music together. Clubs are subscribe-to-own memberships curated by trusted experts and built on community.

On the first of each month, your Club delivers a featured album to your Bandcamp collection. Once it is there, it is yours to keep, forever. Around the same time, you’ll get access to an exclusive interview with the artist and posts in the members-only space. Mid-month, the curator hosts a live Listening Party where you connect with other fans in real time.

In a world where most music is delivered by algorithms, Bandcamp Clubs take the opposite path: every selection is handpicked by curators who have spent countless hours immersed in their scenes, tastemakers who live and breathe music and musical culture.

Clubs celebrate the art of the album. This is music to experience fully and enjoy together.

Every Club is artist-first. Your membership supports the artist and the curator behind each record.

    The first Clubs:

The Hard Stuff: heavy music from the underground to the iconic

Kosmos Klub: adventurous sounds for curious ears

Jazz-ish Jazz Club: rediscovered gems and future favorites across the spectrum

Dance Around the World: global journeys through genre-blurring sounds

Bandcamp Clubs are a more intentional way to discover music, connect with community, and support the artists and curators who make it possible.
