CD era probably cooler than streaming era, as a consumer nowadays it makes no sense to buy CDs though. it was fun when it was everybody.

Streaming also allows more independence for artists.

I really love in the hardcore/punk scene everybody basically relies on selling physicals still. Makes me feel like I'm actively helping them continue to make music lol

I get both vinyl and cd’s still not as often as a vinyl but I like to throw a cd in for a car ride

And on top of that CD quality is really good. I f***ing hate those s***files i always rip flac files to have the best quality

I'm an avid CD collector, but the likely of it taking over the industry feels slim at this moment, but if fans continue to support it and I'm down.
