I would have to agree with this 100%, when I first heard slide and heard frank and the migos on a track together it was so crazy but it was such damn a bop, what a moment. Or like that future and Khalid track

It’s not a bad song by any means, but it is kind of safe. I feel like Funk Wavs works best when it’s doing some off the wall s*** with its collaborators.

Yeah was kinda disappointed with a Thug feature since there was one on Vol. 1. That doesn’t help with feeling like more of the same or Calvin playing it safe.

I hope the album comes out this month. Put it out early so people can bump it a whole lot in the summer and it becomes a classic again. Vol. 1 came out June 30 but the first single was out in feb. Slide is still being played in supermarkets. I dunno momentum seems off...
