Finance markets definitely want a Trump win, but a lot of rich people as individuals are pro-Kamala

a jubilee type thing where billionaires geniunely argue about who they vote for would be hilarious
Not sure if it’s a confirmation bias or recency bias thing, but support and enthusiasm for Trump seems almost universally bigger than 2016 or 2020. In 2016 it seemed basically fringe to publicly support him in many areas and in 2020 it was very much like republicans felt obligated to run him more than excited. This year I swear to god, there is actual enthusiasm even in heavily liberal areas. I never saw Trump signs or flags in deep liberal parts of NYC, Philly, LA, SFO until this year. In like downtown Philly I’ve seen Trump flags in businesses and on homes, completely different world than 2016 where this was a 99% blue area.
Disclaimer: not saying he’s got an easy win
I’m in Trump country and I feel like I’ve seen significantly less enthusiasm this year than 2020. Much less shirts/merch the last couple weeks compared to the last election

2016 was obviously peak

Their hearts aren’t in it anymore. The trucks with F*** Joe Biden flags don’t speed around with the same gusto.

That’s an interesting observation tbh. I live and travel between primarily urban areas so my view is based on differences in major cities. When I leave cities I just see Trump stuff which makes sense, but I didn’t think about comparative enthusiasm there in terms of scale
