LouFDR won 3 times in a row as the older candidate. My point is that it’s not something to rely on when there are innumerable contributing factors
I just kinda roll my eyes at US presidential electoral stats in general when 1) there have been so few elections and 2) that’s not how history works: events, attitudes, trends, etc. change over time
Stats are probably more telling wrt the House because there’s 435 seats up for election every 2 years, but the presidency is a whole different ball game
Nobody said it was the deciding factor or the only factor, that being said it clearly is a factor. It’s just not the only one.
