The thing is that Trump is simply holding together a fractured right-wing, binding it together with his demagoguery, once he goes away from the political scene, those splits come right back up again

He doesn't have a coherent political ideology, multiple people can listen to Trump speak and get completely different things out of it, he has to appeal to so many of these disparate right-wing tendencies
