The numbers in this thread are why I am bullish for Kamala’s odds of increasing her margin over the next month (if no significant “October Surprise” news story develops)

When you combine this + the Fed cutting rates aggressively and saying they will continue cutting, it shows the economy will be cranking upward (in the short term at least):

I don’t think any numbers like this matter until the average family feels more confident in paycheck-vs-spending ratio and cost of goods/inflation. Obviously there's no going back to pre-inflation but increasingly the average family just does not feel financially safe despite whatever statistics say

True, as more time passes though I think they will find grocery bills way more tolerable and their increased wages with steady employment a good thing

With the one big exception being that housing has not been fixed and as a result a big portion of paychecks are often going to that

Housing is definitely an elephant in the room issue and rhetoric on it at a federal level has been weak across both parties. On a more state/local basis it’s been better in some states and localities but man on the current trajectory it’s only gonna get worse

    I'm not a Kamala fan

but it's so weird for me how Trump is a convicted felon and hasn't been held accountable yet for all the serious crimes he's indicted for yet he's just running around campaigning and getting covered and talked about in the media sometimes like none of that s*** ever happened lol

He's been indicted for some real serious s*** and nobody cares lol. All I see is ads from his campaign like this guy is just some great citizen who represents everything right about America.

He's just able to run and actually has a shot at winning. The special treatment he gets compared to anyone else is insane. A lot of people know he's a straight criminal yet are rooting for him like some entertaining villain in a tv show they want to win.

I'm low key jealous because my ass would be under the jail right now. I'm a hater fr.

The United States and israel set out to remake the Middle East, again

The mood in Washington today is similar to 2003 when the neocons of the Bush administration sought to remake the Middle East. This time, a joint vision shared by israel and the Biden administration seeks to remake the region in the West’s vision.

Trump single handedly keeps legacy media alive thats why

If the democrats were smart they would go directly on pro-trump platforms and it would go viral as f***, and make them the ratings draw

But they are not smart so kamala is going on call he daddy this week

One of the most clearly written and informative explanations of changes in how polling is being conducted compared to the past presidential election:

    nytimes.com/2024/10/06/upshot/polling-methods-election.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare

As of the polls that have been released up until this point, it presents a very strong case for why there is unlikely to be a strong Trump underestimate (like the past two elections) and instead it is much more likely that they could be underestimating Kamala (if there is a systemic polling error)
