What are your views on the conflict

I think that the Russians of Crimea and the Donetsk had the right to use their self determination to secede following Euromaiden. I think the violent Ukrainian response to this was unfair and shortsighted

I think that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is unjust and imperialist, along with their extended military presence since 2014.

I believe that both sides heavily invest in white nationalist and Nazi ideology to support narratives for their conflict. However, both sides are very white-nationalist.

I think that American involvement in the conflict is not supportive of the Ukrainian cause but instead a facet of larger Western-capitalist-NATO-whatever agendas. Ukraine is not something that’s intended to be solved but instead intended to be another Afghanistan for Russia. I highly oppose any involvement in conflict that seeks out both these means and ends, especially considering the fact that we’re arming nazis

I think that a peace deal that secedes the Donetsk and Crimean regions and guarantees Ukraine EU-NATO membership is the best deal compromise

nobody said that. we're communists, we support an immediate ceasefire for the good of the working classes of both countries, who have no stake in this war.

    they didn't say anything incorrect

e: wait yeah no ukraine shouldnt join the eu or nato , that would only escalate the conflict further at the expense of the ukrainian proletariat. but besides that its a fair assessment.

on what grounds is Russia's paramilitary operations imperialist

Because theyre a capitalist entity bringing a separate political and social entity into their economic sphere for the sake of protecting and extracting economic resources

The russophilic Ukraine was highly tied to the national corporations that run the kremlin

it is competing directly with NATO imperialism on its own terms utilizing their military industrial monopoly to do so. this is the essence of "inter-imperialist war". what matters in making that determination is who stands to benefit from the conflict, the Russian and Ukrainian proletariat have nothing to benefit from the war. the guns need to be turned around.

this is sorta true but not in the way liberals and other right-wingers think. russia has no real desire or need for ukraine's natural resources, however ukraine has a need for ukraine's natural resources (and overall industrial capacity, which is centralized in the east) and the russian military knows if they can successfully deprive ukraine of these things the state will no longer function.

The Russia Ukraine war is the US fault in the first place. Getting Ukraine into Nato was a provocation from the western allies and the Russians fell for it.
