Think about what it really means to have as many Democrats in Congress OPENLY calling for you to step down. Think about what it means to have multiple reputable sources saying that Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, and Jeffries are trying to yank you.

Now picture STILL actually going through with the nomination. STILL having the most awkward convention of all time. Then having 3 months where you slip further and further in the polls because voters saw your own party turn on you.

All he would be doing is committing the most painful political suicide possible.

I think this week will decide things either way it goes, if Obama is really anti-biden and releases a statement, then it's a wrap.

If the whole ticket is replaced, that new candidate will have roughly 2.5 months to campaign around the country, raise funds, unify the party, debate (with what resume?), fight off inevitable press stories, and win a Presidential general election off of no primary votes.

That timeline shrinks even more when considering early voting. What happens when this move is challenged in courts??
