Jon Stewart’s episode about last night/the dnc as a whole was good. Called out the emphasis on militarism and lethal army! and how it clashes with the ‘hope💙joy’ optics, called out the amount of Republican/pro Iraq war speakers, pointed out the discrimination of not having a Palestinian American speak for 2 minutes during 8 hours of speeches, called out that making points about predators don’t work when you have bill Clinton speak right after it.

Feel like there was parts that had him at odds with the audience too. They would accidentally cheer at a clip that he would play with the purpose of setting up a joke/critique. Interesting segment

Im glad someone on the left pointed out the bill clinton s***, but its predictable from someone like Jon Stewart, we knew he was gonna call that out. But no body else will pay s*** like that any mind.

Even oprah too, to which i have to give credit to trevor noah. I vividly remember him joking about the epstein s*** at an award show a while back right in front of her 😭

DNC had AOC talking about workers rights for 6 minutes too long and gave Anna navarro a few minutes of her blabbering at the mouth of "Fuck communism!" 😭

She out here trying to break up a happy home, smh.

If they’re genuinely trying to fight back against the “weird” argument, I don’t think this is the way to go about it.

Also, RFK himself is genuinely a f***ing moron for doing this.

john cooks here. he’s a lib himself but he been consistently calling out their idiotic messaging

what specifically frustrates me rn is JD abandoned his rural home town for Yale bit

it’s so dumb and totally off base of what past dem messaging has been

beyond yale and ivy schools being bleh, shouldn’t we be celebrating coming from rural bum f*** and achieving higher education at yale?!

When he was in office she took every opportunity to snap at him, even when he give the most cookie-cutter simple standard press conference one could imagine. Now she's Photo-Oping herself fixing his tie and kissing him on the cheek 😭.

Obama must have felt like Michael B jordan that one time his former high school bully was interviewing him after calling him the corny kid

    JD? Vance? or

    correct

guy is an absolute asshat. but leave it at that. poking into him going to Yale being some kind of abandonment of his home town is stupid i think and doesn’t resonate with the life many of us live

if you grow up and make it into yale, especially with a lack of higher ivy league education in your family, should be celebrated imo. so it’s weird the dems are attacking it like they are, it’s off base with reality

Fax, I agree with everything u said, especially considering the fact that alot of famous Dems who represent the party come from the entire family being in Ivy leagues.

It should ESPECIALLY be praised if you make it to Yale without anyone in the fam not being alumni of that, regardless of race, gender, or religion. Now what you do with it, is up to the person themselves. But the simple act of that should be supported, dont like this angle the dems took.

IDK too much about Vances background but if the stories about hard times growing up with the addiction inside the family and other s*** are true, I cant fault him too much for going to Yale either. He probably sensed at the time where he was at Geographically was going to be detrimental to him.

He doesn’t seem to actually be dropping out though, which is the weird thing.

Is he pulling out of swing states so he doesn’t siphon votes from Trump or something?

This doesn’t make any f***ing sense.

If this is actually his tactic, then that makes it blindingly obvious that he was always intended to be a spoiler for Dems that blew up in their f***ing faces, and that’s kind of it.

Why would RFK voters then swap to Trump in swing states if they want RFK to win? I could maybe see it if he were chosen as Trump’s VP, but this s*** is f***ing idiotic as is.

Never mind the fact that his speech was so f***ing freakish that C-SPAN cut away from it.

    they all do.

one of my only conservative friends has used RFK Jr. as a shield nonstop. He loves what Trump says but fully knows that everyone around him judges him for agreeing with him and deep down knows Trump has no one's best interest other than him (as a straight white guy), but he's been saying constantly that "he's not a Trump supporter, he's actually voting for RFK this election!" as if that somehow gives him credence of validity. You still support a far-right fascist conspiracy lunatic, man lmfao
