There's a guy I watch on YouTube called FD signafier and I think he's cool, a good family man, and an example of a wholesome black voice. Definitely left leaning which is what we need
But whenever I'm watching his videos he can't stop with the man hating BS, the shooting down opposing stances BS. As a younger male that alienates me cause like... Nigga I'm trying to like you.
100% challenge my biases and all but when you're calling me a piece of s*** cause I don't think Jonathan Majors should be vilified ain't how you capture that audience
Now I'm strong enough to not let that push me into the alt right pipeline, I was able to see that for what it was over a decade ago. But not a lot of young men are and they get pushed out by people they would otherwise agree with them get radicalized by Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson etc
i just finished watching his elections video and im p convinced hes unconsciously a left wing grifter who during his a***ysis of elections arrives at the most vapid 'masses are dumb and want someone to rule them' liberal misanthropic bullshit while still maintaining this veneer of progressive politics. bro cant shut up about picking up a bell hooks book this year and discovering left wing politics during covid. i like his videos but hes milking a lot of this s*** and when it comes time to actually apply some sort of material a***ysis he never ever ever delivers
i dont wanna comment on this too much because im literally in the caucasus mountains typing this but making the entire election about 'the white man' and not talking about the fact that the other party didnt engage people enough to vote for them is disingenuous
