I was too p**** to successfully break up with my therapist cause I’m conflict avoidant and I didn’t know how to tell him he’s not right for me.

So I'm a 26 year old black man

There's a guy I watch on YouTube called FD signafier and I think he's cool, a good family man, and an example of a wholesome black voice. Definitely left leaning which is what we need

But whenever I'm watching his videos he can't stop with the man hating BS, the shooting down opposing stances BS. As a younger male that alienates me cause like... Nigga I'm trying to like you.

100% challenge my biases and all but when you're calling me a piece of s*** cause I don't think Jonathan Majors should be vilified ain't how you capture that audience

Now I'm strong enough to not let that push me into the alt right pipeline, I was able to see that for what it was over a decade ago. But not a lot of young men are and they get pushed out by people they would otherwise agree with them get radicalized by Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson etc

There are sympathetic voices like AOC, Pete, Sanders in the democratic party that get snuffed out and stifled by the current leaders

Unless you're telling me there's nothing but outright corruption top to bottom (inb4 ) then you can vote within a party that actually has a chance of winning to influence and install sympathetic voices that will hopefully, overtime, overpower the leading moderates and neoliberals in the party

The alternative is infighting or sitting it out and letting Republicans who are currently trying pass bills that refuse amnesty to migrants and Hamas sympathizers
