Increasing GDP is positive for the American people, when GDP falls, deaths rise. Aid in Ukraine can be seen as an investment in US GDP. Indirect investment in the US is a bipartisan agreement.

That’s not to say we shouldn’t also be spending money to alleviate homelessness even if that wouldn’t correlate to a net GDP gain because not everything needs to be about economics.
