    Maybe I am but I'm not just going off vibes. Mainly anecdotal evidence from working around a lot of Hispanics, and growing up around a lot of Hispanics.

    I can't speak on their culture because I'm not Hispanic but I can say I don't really ever see, or hear, about Hispanic men actively seeking out welfare programs like food stamps* and I have many, many times witnessed their opinion on people who they believe are lazy.

    They buy into that "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" rhetoric HARD. Maybe they think that's what America is all about idk. But yeah there's really not much empathy from them otherwise
