what do you mean? people are frequently under investigation and often arrested by law enforcement for social media posts and all of that can be used against you in a court of law. also its not even a matter of needing to go that hard, most censorship happens through social media algorithms filtering out radical voices just through keywords, pattern recognition, etc.
just because the nature of the censorship is different doesn't mean its not effective. capitalists have privatized everything including their censorship apperatus.
