I don’t see Democrats fielding a good candidate by 2028. They’ll more than likely use this as a means to justify sliding further to the right, rather than ignite any real progressive candidate.

They’ll try and tout someone like Hakeem Jeffries as a candidate in 2028. Ideally they will try finding a 45-55 year old white man to run. I’d say Buttigieg, but unless some heavy rigging going on, I don’t think we’ll see an openly gay President (for any country) in our lifetime.

Democrats ain’t gonna field no more women, except maybe AOC, but AOC threw away a lot of her support with this Palestinian genocide, white women would be more open to supporting her though. At least a lot more than they did for Kamala.

So yea I think we’ll have a Republican President & Senate until 2032. The House might go either way every 2 years.
