Says every day that the left is importing immigrants into the country to change the voting demographics of America and make it so the democrats win, while doing this s*** behind closed doors

NYT reported the same thing pretty much verbatim.

Thing is though, Kamala hasn’t agreed to it, yet they’re presenting this as if she pitched this herself, or had already preemptively agreed to it.

They want the horse race narrative so bad.

After the s*** talking Kamala said the past week about "say it to my face" she better not back out of the debate.

After the s*** talking Kamala said the past week about "say it to my face" she better not back out of the debate.

But she isn’t backing out of the debate that was already agreed to

This is like if you’re in elementary school and someone says “come fight me after school, with your bare hands” and then they come at you with a hammer and say “you agreed to this”

Reports coming out saying Trump backed out of ABC debate that Kamala agreed to.

Also, it looks like Kamala hasn't agreed to Fox debate, but Trump has.

These people ain't gonna have a debate

And that’s exactly what Trump wants

The top line there is: Trump backed out of debate, and wants it to be switched to a setting that will cater to him

Kamala would look weak if she doesn’t stand her ground and demand the debate that had been agreed to months ago on a completely neutral news network (Trumps wild for insinuating ABC is biased against him lol) take place

There’s no world in which this is Kamala “backing out” of doing a debate when it’s hosted on Fox News

With the right comedic delivery, this could have been a good funny line but instead he sounds super serious about it.

Sorry to keep notifying you @krishna_bound but I always respect your takes so I’m just curious what your thoughts are electorally on Walz while we’re at it

i was talking with @mjpplus in here yesterday about how he might not appeal to people as well as Beshear because of age/appearance/home state/perception, but with Pelosi supposedly on board I’m curious what you think of him too

just gonna answer everything you mentioned at once

for shapiro, i think he's a bad regional pick because while it's true he has goodwill concentrated in PA, he doesn't especially possess any qualities likely to make him (or Kamala) appealing to southern or midwestern/rust belt voters. policy-wise shapiro is okay to a wider voterbase (i.e. he is pro-cop which alongside Kamala is likely welcome to many voters), but he doesn't especially differentiate himself as a pick. he's been in and out of various scandals, which while ignorable, intersect with hot topics people hold contentious views on (even besides israel, there's his record as AG). it's a weird pic which helps in PA to some degree but is a ploy at gaining non-existing Dem voters that actually alienates a decent amount of the dem pre-existing voterbase. not saying they'll switch to trump, but the last thing kamala needs is to stump her own momentum all things considered and where her campaign's at

for beshear, the primary reason he works is very literally because of identity politics honestly. a lot of neutral voters or voters in areas like the south (especially in key states like GA or even non-southern states like AZ - think boomers) who are on the fence or dislike trump but may vote for him have criticisms of kamala that are largely rooted in social concerns. the messaging from the right that disconcerts voters about kamala is that she's ushering in rapid social change or doesn't fit or care about their benefit groups vs minorities. having a boring white christian with a high approval among white people goes a long way in this regard for courting voters.i think this will have a tangible effect because it immediatedly qualms concerns and makes cheap tactics and accusations about her hollow. it's honestly not that far removed from the tactic of obama picking biden in 08 funny enough but in a more exaggerated direction. it also helps beshear actually has put in place a lot of policies that have helped the benefit groups being described w/o alienating other demographics within the pre-existing voterbase (i.e. unions, medicare reform)

for walz will respond separately in a bit

So Trump won’t debate Harris because it’s not on his home court?

What a f***ing coward. He already agreed to debate Biden on the set date. Pathetic.
