Electorally, I’m starting to come around to the idea that Shapiro gives her the highest ceiling. Ultimately his only drawback is being tougher on the protests, and for the people that have that as their #1 issue, I doubt any VP candidate would be good enough for them. Shapiro would give a huge boost in what will probably be the most important state electorally (PA) and is probably the best public speaker of all the candidates. He’s also probably the most moderate, which is helpful in a general election. Even more so now, when the attacks coming from the GOP are that Kamala is too far to the left.

Kelly probably has the least variance of any of the candidates. Personality wise he’s kind of stale, resume wise he gives her something exciting. Not sure if he’s popular enough in Arizona to completely flip it though. And not sure what other states he has natural appeal to. Kind of just a do-no-harm type pick.

I’d personally love Walz or Beshear because I think they’re some of the most authentic communicators of the bunch, but idk how realistic either of those are

Not gonna help with one state specially like Shapiro, but he is a way more authentic dude, and I think that will resonate.

Also as a teacher, policy wise I’m super happy they’re going with a guy that is super supportive of teachers unions over a guy in Shapiro that has not been supportive
