You're not wrong, either, but our media, corporate interests, politicians, and etc. work in tandem to misinform, mislead, or flat out lie to the average voter. The average voter is being pelted with, "dems are taking your money and giving it to ukraine", "dems are taking your money and giving it to illegals", yet neither side mentions the financial dependence Israel has on US. If that somehow does get brought up, it gets batted down by either side saying, "Israel is our greatest ally and the middle east is filled with American-hating terrorists".
